Roger is more than a service technician—he's a Class A Gas Fitter, a journeyman auto mechanic, and a skilled HVAC expert with nearly three decades of field experience. He is also the brother of G.M. Mechanical’s founder, George McCormick, which means Roger’s contributions are part of the original fabric of the company.
Over the years, he has not only helped install and repair countless systems but also taken on the additional role of vehicle fleet maintenance—keeping the company's service trucks in top condition. That kind of reliability and commitment is rare, and it’s something we value deeply.
Whether he's fine-tuning a heating system during an Alberta cold snap or doing vehicle fleet maintenance in his “off-time”, Roger does it all with precision and dedication. He carries a calm, confident demeanour into every job he tackles. In fact, it’s not uncommon for clients to breathe a sigh of relief just seeing Roger arrive.

Having lived in the High River area for about 50 years, Roger has seen firsthand the growth of the community and G.M. Mechanical's impact within it. He and his wife raised their two children here, and he remains a familiar face to many families across the Foothills.
